British Columbians require and deserve access to high quality health care services. The care and leadership provided by BC nurses is a pivotal and essential component of the BC health care system.  And this couldn’t be more important in these days as we face COVID-19!

Moving forward, the RNFBC would like to make more bursaries available to RN nursing students as they face the financial hardships inflicted on them because of the pandemic but this will require continued and new support from donors in the community.  Our two new giving options – Bursary Response Fund Boost for student RNs or RNs is your opportunity to assist.

Just as nurses have a profound impact on people’s lives, the RNFBC strives to make an impact on the lives of nurses by helping them achieve their educational goals. We are able to do the work we do, through the loyalty of our many donors.

If you, a family member or loved one was or is in the care of a nurse and you haven’t had a chance to thank them, please consider showing your appreciation by backing us with a secure online donation through our Donate page.  Perhaps you would prefer to send your contribution by mail or email, you will also find a downloadable PDF.  Bruce Bouchard, our Fundraising & Donor Relations Manager would be pleased to assist you or answer questions about your donation options (bbouchard@rnfbc.ca or 604.739.1944). Whatever way you choose to assist in the work of the Foundation – a one time gift, joining the monthly giving program, augmenting one of our 39 established bursaries or creating a new bursary, please know that your support is valued.

Please remember that in supporting us or creating a bursary, you will have made a positive difference to someone’s professional career and will, in fact, be helping the people of BC live healthier and better lives.

Our many thanks in advance for your support!
